Nottingham Vet School, Sutton Bonington Campus.
Closed 6 months ago (27 Nov)
The BSAS Early Career Council is putting on a PhD Students Mental Health Awareness Workshop on Thursday 28th November. This one-day workshop (10am - 5pm TBC) will involve presentations from PhD students on their experiences, and supervisors on what their role is as a supervisor. We will also have a discussion session on key issues that affect PhD students’ mental health and ways to tackle them using the results from our survey. There will also be an interactive workshop run by Dr Rebecca Jackson (www.PhDSupport.co.uk) titled "Enthusiasm Boost: Thriving in Your PhD with Passion". Places are limited so sign up now.
Our survey on PhD mental health is still open for responses. We would really like to hear from you on what key issues you have experienced in your PhD so far in order to make the discussion session really beneficial. Current PhD students please take a few minutes to complete our PhD Mental Health Survey
Attendance fee: £15/person
