BSAS EAAP 2016 Award

The Sir Kenneth Blaxter Scholarships and the Murray Black Awards
For one year only, BSAS will be using the above scholarship and award funds to support members who are early career scientists (ie post-graduates or those in the early years of their animal science career and no more than 5 years after completing a PhD) to attend and present at the 2016 EAAP meeting to be held in Belfast. The scholarships can be used for attendance at- and travel to- the meeting in order to make a presentation (Including posters) or fund a specific short research project or study tour/visit as an adjunct to conference attendance. There are no specific categories so you may apply for funds in relation to any relevant animal science activity. The awards committee will seek to identify applications where there will be a clear added career value to the applicant. Awards of up to £500 are available to all successful applicants.

Date for submissions: 15th February, 2016 to coinside with the conference abstract submission process. Successful applicants will be informed by 1st March.
